Northstar Luxury Tree Lodge

Experience log cabin living at its finest in this luxurious Tahoe home with beautiful woodland views. On the upper level, you'll find a primary suite with a king bed and a bathroom with jetted tub and walk-in shower. Also on this level is a guest room with a queen bed and a bathroom with shower. The impressive great room located on this level features a gourmet granite kitchen, a vaulted living room & dining area with expansive windows and knotty pine ceilings that create a truly Tahoe feel with the luxury of custom finishes and decorator touches throughout.

The lower level offers a second primary suite with king bed and a half bath. The fourth bedroom has a double over queen bunk bed, a sleeper sofa and full bath. The laundry, mud room area and access to an oversized two car garage are located on the lower level.

This property offers access to the Northstar Recreation Center. ($10 per person/per day). The Recreation Center offers several outdoor Jacuzzi’s, a well-equipped expansive workout room, heated adult lap pool in the winter, a game room with pool tables, air hockey, video games and much more. In the summer, guests will also enjoy the Junior Olympic size swimming pool, kiddie pool, lap pool, kid’s camp, play area and the Snack Shack, pickleball & tennis.

Summer activities include a champion 18-hole golf course and golf pro, tennis courts, tennis pro available for lessons, rolling skating rink, mountain bike trails including chair lift to take you to the top and equestrian center with great trails for horseback riding.

Winter activities at Northstar Resort include the new Lookout Mountain offering acres of new terrain for skiers and snowboarders including a Terrain Park and Super Pipe. There is a cross-country center, snow tubing park, ice skating rink, restaurants, bars, retail shops, equipment rental shops and licensed daycare.

Our Guests are only minutes away for North Lake Tahoe where you can go boating, jet skiing, kayaking, paddle boarding, parasailing, mountain biking, hiking, shopping, fishing, sightseeing or just enjoy relaxing at the Lake watching the kids skip rocks.

Lake Tahoe and its beautiful beaches are just a 10 minute drive. North Shore Casinos are 20 minutes away and offer gambling, dining and music.

  This is one of those special rental homes where the description and pictures in the listing under-represent the quality of the actual property itself! Our family greatly enjoyed the NorthStar/Tahoe lifestyle in large part due to this "Luxury Tree Lodge."
  
  This multi-level cabin is in a cul-de-sac, so it is very quiet and secluded. The house is quite spacious and easily accommodated our family of 7 adults and 2 kids. The furnishings are top-notch and comfy, and the decor unique. The kitchen was well-appointed with fully-functioning appliances and cookware, and we were able to expertly prepare/serve all our meals "in-house" with great satisfaction and ease.
  
  There is ample lighting throughout the home, and ceiling fans are strategically placed throughout the home to move warm air during the summer months (we rented in July). A large two-car garage housed our two suv-s while a 3rd car parked in the driveway. There is a forested hill immediately behind the house that leads to a hiking/biking trail that will take you directly into the N-Star Village at the top of the hill.
  
  Sheri and Kristi promptly answered the couple of questions we had and made us feel very welcome during our entire stay. All in all, this is a superb vaca home and invites repeat stays - a five-star property for sure and highly recommended!

  We loved our stay at the Luxury Tree Lodge. We were a group of three adults, three teenagers and two younger children. The house was spacious enough for us by far, and laid out well, with two bedrooms upstairs and two downstairs. The garage had tall thresholds so we could pull our suv in even with the roof box on, which was nice. Sheri at Vacay was super responsive and helpful. The only issue worth noting, and I believe it's noted in the property description, is that a two-wheel drive car wouldn't be able to make it up the driveway when there's snow or ice on the ground. But then you likely wouldn't be driving a 2wd in those conditions anyway, so probably not a big deal. Overall we had a great stay. I'd rent again.

  Great overall experience. House extremely well equipped!! Location was great. The only complaint was that the sheets needed to be replaced. The sheets had stains on them a hair, dishcloth in the covers, and the blanket looked like someone had bed on it. I was told that couldn’t be possible. But it really was.

  The house is as it is pictured; a well built home with beautiful finishes. Reservations were easily confirmed & staff were responsive & helpful. The house accommodated 5 teenage boys and three adult parents comfortably with plenty of space for all to move about, and is truly pet friendly; our Beagle was happy & comfortable. The location in proximity to the Northstar Village was as expected. We wanted peace and quiet, but not too far away from the village activities. The Rec center staff were very accommodating & friendly. I highly recommend this home for its quality construction, comfort, and convenient location.

  Beautifully property and really enjoyed our stay. The only complaint is that the home was hot/no AC and the weather was warm so we had trouble sleeping/cooling off.   The house is just as described online. The house is spacious and the layout is terrific, with two split bedrooms upstairs and two bedrooms downstairs. Our two families with two children each had plenty of room. The kitchen is nicely equipped and we prepared many meals at home. The Northstar shuttle picked up right outside the house. The bed in the downstairs "bunk room" is a little quirky with a large gap at the end of the top bunk that opens to the bed below, so that bed is better for older children or adults. The house was very clean on arrival. Overall, we thought the house was terrific and highly recommend it if you're looking to be close to Northstar with room to spread out!

  The Home was very comfortable and relaxing. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Beautifully decorated and had plenty of amenities in the kitchen which is always a bonus. Tahoe in July was hot, only downfall was the upstairs master suite was a bit hot to sleep in. It could us a ceiling fan for the summer nights. Everything was top notch. Hope to stay here again.

  We had the BEST time staying in the Northstar Luxury Tree Lodge. I was nervous it would be too small from the pictures but was pleasantly surprised to see how large, spacious and cozy this home was (we very comfortably fit 8 people) The free shuttle to Northstar made getting to and from the Mountain a stress free breeze and we spent almost all of our free time at the house because we enjoyed it so much. Highly recommend booking for your next vacation, we absolutely will be back and appreciated how easy it was to work with the management company.

  We had a great stay at this home in July! It is a beautiful house that is meticulously maintained. The kitchen was well stocked and beach towels/beach chairs were available for the lake. Having access to the Northstar Recreation Facilities was an added bonus! We especially liked the quiet culdesac that the home is located on, and spent our mornings enjoying our coffee on the front balcony.
